Winetourism Presentation

Recent interventions of architectural restoration of the baglio have given rise to the Sirignano Wine Resort, an accommodation facility with eleven independent rooms housed in the ancient farmhouses adjacent to the Baglio. The Wine Resort also has a restaurant (open by reservation), a club house, a tasting room, an infinity panoramic pool, a shop for the sale of farm products and, finally, a Museum of wine and agriculture. A rich and varied offer, created to allow winelovers and travelers – in constant search of typical Sicilian – to live a unique experience of tailor-made travel, to discover both the cultural and historical beauties and the landscape in the path of the DOC Monreale Wine Road.

Guided Tours and Tastings

The tour itinerary at the Marchesi De Gregorio company includes the possibility of choose among five different tasting routes (available only by reservation) with a wide price range: from 8 to 45 euros. The wine experience begins with a pleasant walk through the vineyards and continues in the winery to tell the wine history of the family, with guided tastings of some historical labels in combination with local gastronomic specialties or a lunch at the restaurant. During summer it is possible to combine lunch or dinner with the use of an enchanting panoramic swimming pool. To enrich the food and wine offer, there is also the opportunity to live a typical Sicilian experience at the farm – immersed in the countryside of Monreale – in one of the eleven rooms in the ancient farmhouses adjacent to the Baglio: a wine resort ideal for anyone who wants to spend a pleasant holiday of good food, good wine and relaxation.
